I trained as a mechanical engineer. Then I spent 18 years in global HR roles at Novartis and GSK  in the US, Europe, and Asia. My experience spans R&D and Commercial HR Head and Talent CoE roles.

Along the way, I've led transformations and mergers and acquisitions, led AI strategy and enablement, and worked alongside seasoned C-suite leaders and CHROs.

A life long learner.  Earned my Master of Science in Human Capital and Analytics from New York University. I did this before AI for HR was a trend on anyone's feed.

Here's what I believe.

HR has to lead AI transformation. I watched this happen far too many times: technology deployed faster than people could absorb it, HR called in after to manage the fallout. Today, HR holds the key to unlock the power of AI through People, Culture and Talent Practices (Microsoft Work Index 2026).

Workflows drive the real AI shift. The actual sequence of how work gets done. Most AI-for-HR content never gets past the tool use.

Build it before you teach it. My belief is we need more AI practitioners and builders in HR. You can't drive responsible adoption of AI unless you have a strong understanding of how AI works. I lead AI hackathons for HR teams and enjoy vibe coding AI apps for HR use. I built vigil.hr, an AI governance tool for HR teams navigating the EU AI Act, as a SHE Builds Season 3 alum.

I enjoy writing about AI on LinkedIn, to almost 6,000 HR and business leaders. Connect with me →

Recommendations from the people I worked with.

"A powerhouse of talent and a visionary who is not just tracking AI and the future of work, but actively architecting it. Over five years I watched Aarti become a standout Talent Management leader while enabling a USD 20-billion business. She marries human-centric leadership with a deep, practical mastery of AI and data analytics. I recommend her without hesitation for global leadership at the intersection of AI, technology and Talent."

Markus Graf

Corporate Head of Talent, Nestlé

"Aarti remains one of the most capable, trusted, and high-judgment partners I've worked with. She combines strategic thinking with flawless execution: she can take an ambiguous problem, frame it crisply, and drive it to a high-quality outcome without oversight. A calm, solutions-oriented presence that elevated the entire executive team. I relied on her judgment daily, and she delivered every time."

Dan Manea

CHRO, Global Pharma & MedTech Leader

"I've had a front-row seat watching Aarti ascend from a curious learner to a thought-leader on how AI will transform work, the workplace and the workforce. She blends big ideas, technology, data and people growth in a way that puts her a year ahead of others' readiness. Now people ask her what she sees coming next."

Jade White

Strategic HR Executive & Thought Leader

"Aarti is a true human connector, a talent enabler and a trusted partner. She nurtured my growth and helped me navigate career moves with wisdom, empathy and evidence-based advice. A visionary who thinks big, rallies the organization around her vision, and makes things happen. Talent strategies with her rise to a whole different level, and she is beyond inspiring in leading AI."

Agnes Lteif

MD, MBA, SVP Head of US Medical Affairs & Regulatory

"Aarti is the rare blend of human-centered leadership and analytical precision that today's organizations desperately need. Most HR professionals lean into either the people side or the data; she balances both with equal fluency. In our Human Capital Analytics program at NYU, she translated complex workforce analytics into actionable people strategies, refusing to treat technology and human connection as competing forces."
